Pink is the colour that screams femininity. So when mobile phone companies began to offer us the opportunity of a pink mobile phone, how could we resist as girls? In the past a pink phone was a novelty however as a woman myself (and call me shallow) I am more drawn to a new mobile phone if it is available in pink. And this idea is certainly there amongst others as what a selection we have now to choose from – bubblegum pink, hot pink, baby pink, rose pink, magenta…
Our mobile phones have become as valuable and essential to daily life as our debit cards and car keys are. It is no longer just a phone, it’s a personal organiser, internet browser, camera and much more so is it any wonder we want it to match the rest of our accessories when it comes with us everywhere? You can tell a lot about a person from the kind of phone they have and by choosing the colour pink you add just a hint more about your personality.
And let’s not forget how much easier a pink mobile phone is to find in the deep folds and creases of our rather oversized handbags in comparison to its black counterpart. So whether it’s in our genes to love the colour pink or because of our upbringing, a pink mobile phone definitely has its uses other than just looking pretty.
